According to Naina Jadeja, they paid an advance payment of Rs 6 lakh to the company but the company did not return the money after the deal was cancelled. She filed a complaint with the Rajkot Taluka police station. She later claimed to the media that when she tried to contact the owner of the event management company to request a refund, he threatened her. she says,
We had to switch to the services of a local event management company at the last minute. After the wedding, I contacted Absolute Events to discuss refunding the Rs 6 lakh advance payment but they threatened me. In fact, Keval Patel switched off his phone. ”
