Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber Dine Out with Son Sasha, 16: 'So Proud'

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber are “proud” parents!

On Saturday, June 22, the actress, 55 — who recently renewed her wedding vows with husband Billy Crudup in Mexico — posted two sweet photos to her Instagram Stories of her and her ex Schreiber, 56, spending time with their eldest with a child, son Saša, 16 years old.

In the first photo, Watts, Sasha and others Ray Donovan actor, who married Taylor Neisen in 2023, posed for a selfie together while standing outside next to a car. Smiling in the sunshine, the trio wore brightly colored outfits, with the teenager in a white polo shirt with green detailing while his parents wore white T-shirts.

“So proud of you @sashapetechreiber,” Watts wrote above the photo, adding three heart emojis below.

Watts then shared a picture of the trio together again, this time dining at a restaurant. Sasha – wearing the same polo shirt – rested his hand on the menu as his smiling parents sat on either side of him. Schreiber changed into a green polo shirt for lunch, while Watts appeared to add a cream blazer over her top.

Although she did not write the second video, the actress tagged her ex and her son in the post.

Watts and Schreiber ended their 11-year relationship in 2016, but have reunited many times since their amicable split as they co-parent Sasha and their second child, Kai, 15.

The recent outing comes after Watts celebrated a vow renewal ceremony with Crudup, 55, on June 8 in Mexico City, following their ceremony at a New York courthouse in June 2023.

The celebration was attended by Nicole Kidman, Justin Theroux and his girlfriend Nicole Brydon Bloom, as well as family and friends of the couple.

Liev Schreiber and Taylor Neisen have a rare tie for a red carpet appearance at the 2024 Tony Awards.

Watts’ brother, photographer Ben Watts, first confirmed news of the ceremony, sharing an Instagram post showing his sister in an elevator in a white dress, holding flowers and surrounded by Crudup and their children.

Days after the ceremony, a source revealed to PEOPLE that the Mexican vow renewal was a “special” moment for the couple.

“They had a beautiful ceremony last year, but really wanted to celebrate their first anniversary with more friends,” the source said. “The vow renewal in Mexico was perfect. Everything was beautiful and special.”

“After being married for a year, Naomi and Billy are still acting like newlyweds. They are so cute together and Naomi is very happy,” they added.

Back in April, Schreiber — who welcomed daughter Hazel with wife Neisen in August 2023 — appeared on Living with Kelly and Mark and revealed that Sasha is “stressed out” about being at school in Vermont, as it means she can’t spend as much time with her new sister.

“They’re amazing. Sasha and Kai, you know them. They love it. It was really cool,” the actor explained to the hosts at the time, adding, “I just talked to Sasha, who’s up at this great school in Vermont called The Mountain School, where he takes care of the animals, and he just said he’s going crazy because he misses being with her.”
