She was chosen among the top 15 contestants in the beauty pageant held at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Her costume gained huge popularity during the competition and she won the title of Best National Costume. She wears a “Kundalini Chakra” costume, which symbolizes the movement of energy in the body’s chakras, from the base to the spine and all the way to the top of the head. Her outfit was designed by fashion designer Eggie Jasmin. In an interview, she talked about representing India in international competitions. she says,
I feel more motivated than ever. It was truly an ecstatic moment for me. I focus on getting ready for the competition and outperforming other competitors. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I will try my best. The competition is fierce and I need to be fully focused on preparation. I never thought that one day I would represent India at an international level. It’s a dream come true, but there’s still a long way to go. We need the support and blessings of people across the country. “
