Nawab is an Indian singer who works mainly in the Punjabi music industry. He is best known for singing the much-anticipated Punjabi song Expert Jatt (2018).

The Nawab was born on July 9 as Mandeep Nadha from Chak Jamalgarh in Jalalabad Tehsil, Firozpur District, Punjab, India. His zodiac sign is Cancer. Growing up, he became interested in listening to the music of Kuldeep Manak when he was around 8 or 9 years old, and had his first stage performance in 8th grade. He continued his studies at DAV Jalalabad. He moved to Chandigarh in class 12 to take coaching for admission to an engineering college. He attended Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College in Ludhiana, where he studied civil engineering while living in the house of Punjabi singer Kuldeep Manak. At that time, Kuldeep Manak was suffering from acute illness. The Nawab spent the next few years helping Yudvir Manak (Kuldeep Manak’s son) take care of his father. Kuldeep Manak died of pneumonia on November 28, 2011, after which the Nawab continued to live there with Yudvir Manak.

After completing his formal education, he moved to Chandigarh where he pursued music as a full-fledged career. There, he was introduced to the entertainment company Ishqpura 07 Films, which produced Expert Jatt’s videos.

Around 2010, he got involved in the entertainment industry. At the time, he had produced a single, but it never materialized. In 2018, he released his first single Expert Jatt under the record label Juke Dock, which earned him huge popularity. The music of this song is composed by Mista Baaz.
In the same year, he released the song “Follow”, composed by Mista Baaz, under the record label T-Series Apna Punjab. The following year, he released the songs “Gedi Route” under T-Series Apna Punjab, “Tattoo Song” under YRF Digital and “Nawabi” under Big Studios (his own production house). Some of Nawab’s hit tracks include “Heart Beat”, “Young Age” and “Gaani Yaar Di”. Later, he released several songs under Expert Jatt Records such as White Gold (2020), Mehnge Suit (2021), and Combination (2022).

- Nawab faced huge hurdles while making the song Expert Jatt. Previously, its music video was shot in Dubai, and the song was performed on a high scale. When the Nawab introduced the song to his acquaintances, they advised him to lower the scale. He later had to shoot the music video for the song again due to lip-sync issues. In fact, the Nawab had to borrow money to complete the song. Initially, he asked his family to invest in his project, but they refused to lend him money as they were already opposed to his decision to pursue a career in the music industry. Only his mother knew he had raised a loan for the song.
