NEET Exam 2023 Important Instructions:- The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a national-level examination for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) once a year, usually in May. The NEET 2023 exam is scheduled to be held on 7 May 2023, as per the official notification released by the NTA.

If you are planning to appear for the NEET 2023 exam, you must follow some important instructions to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience. Here are some of the key points that you should keep in mind before and during the exam:

Before the NEET Exam 2023 Important Instructions:

  1. Download and print your admit card from the official website of NTA (https://ntaneet.nic.in/) and check all the details carefully. If you find any discrepancy, contact the NTA helpline immediately.
  2. Read the instructions given on the admit card and follow them strictly. You must carry your admit card along with a valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, etc.) and a passport size photograph to the exam center.
  3. Check the location of your exam center and plan your travel accordingly. You should reach the exam center at least an hour before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  4. Do not carry any prohibited items such as mobile phones, calculators, watches, electronic devices, stationery items, etc. to the exam center. You will have to deposit them at the designated place outside the exam hall. The NTA will not be responsible for any loss or damage of your belongings.
  5. Wear comfortable clothes and avoid wearing any accessories such as earrings, rings, bracelets, etc. that may trigger metal detectors. You will have to undergo frisking and biometric verification before entering the exam hall.

  7. Follow the instructions given by the invigilator and do not indulge in any unfair means or malpractice. If you are found violating any rules or norms, your candidature will be cancelled and you may face legal action.
  8. The exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode. You will be provided with an OMR sheet and a ballpoint pen to mark your answers. Do not use any other pen or pencil or make any stray marks on the OMR sheet.
  9. The exam will consist of 180 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Each question will carry four marks and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The duration of the exam will be three hours (2 pm to 5 pm).
  10. Fill in your details such as roll number, name, etc. on the OMR sheet carefully and sign it at the designated place. Do not fold or tear the OMR sheet or write anything on its back side.
  11. After completing the exam, hand over your OMR sheet and pen to the invigilator and leave the exam hall quietly. Do not take away any material from the exam center.
