NEET PG 3rd Round Counseling Seat Allotment

NEET PG Round 3 Counselling: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) is scheduled to announce the seat allotment results of the NEET PG Round 3 Counseling tomorrow, 16th September 2023. The seat allotment processing will end today, 15th September 2023. Candidates who have applied for the third round of the allotment process can visit the official website of MCC to check the allotment result.

NEET PG round 3 allotment result will be released as a pdf file. To check NEET PG Counseling 3rd round seat allotment list candidates must visit MCC official website and download allotment results pdf. Candidates who have been allotted seats of their choice will be able to report to the allotted institutions between 18th and 25th September 2023 to complete the admission process. Students are also required to upload all necessary documents to the MCC portal on September 17, 2023.

NEET PG 2023 Cutoffs

According to the latest reports, the Indian Medical Association has written to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya demanding that the cut-off for NEET PG qualifications be lowered. The medical body mentioned that the health ministry has reduced the NEET PG cutoff in the last three years to fill up the vacancies. The United Doctors’ Front Association (UDFA) in a letter to the National Medical Commission (NMC) mentioned that lowering the qualifying percentile criteria will not be enough, the qualifying cut-off must be lowered to fill the vacancies.

According to reports, in 2022, the Ministry of Health has reduced the qualifying percentile of NEET PG by 25 percentile following the recommendation of the NMC. According to the revised criteria, the cut-off value for the general category was 25 percentile, while the cut-off value for PwD and SC/ST/OBC categories was 20 and 15 percentile respectively.
