NEET Consulting UG 2023: The National Medical College (NMC) has accredited two medical colleges in Assam. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam CM accredited Assam Medical College and Guwahati Medical College for another 5 years. With this decision, 170 and 156 seats were added to the MBBS course. CM’s official statement reads: “The National Health Commission has accredited Assam Medical College and Guwahati Medical College for the next 5 years, with 170 and 156 seats respectively in the course. MBBS.”

NEET Advisory UG 2023: NMC evaluates medical colleges based on key parameters
NMC evaluated colleges based on various parameters including physical verification of colleges, aadhaar based biometric attendance and several others. Faculties have met the admission requirements. As a result, they were granted a 5-year extension of their accreditation.
Assam Medical College is accredited by NMC after proper medical examination and other duties. They conducted a digital assessment of Assam Medical College and Hospital during the practical exam to be held on April 3, 2023. The committee also made the announcement to Assam Medical College. on issues such as vacancies in otolaryngology. Faculty has made every effort to eliminate the inconsistencies.
The official announcement read: “After considering all facts and submissions by the Director, AMHC, the First Board of Appeals unanimously decided to continue the recognition of 170 MBBS slots for the College of Medicine. economy for 5 years. AMCH Director Guwahati accepted the decision of the First Board of Appeal.”
NMC has also questioned Guwahati Hospital and Medical College about the presence of untagged faculty on aadhaar-based biometrics. In his reply, the school’s director said that 434 of the 475 registered users rated their attendance at AebAS. After evaluating a few more things, the committee also accredited the Guwahati Medical College.
