Move over Patrick Mahomes, Brock Purdy and Joe Burrow raise the bar for Christmas gifts from NFL quarterbacks this holiday season!
Just a day after the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 29, filled his team’s locker room with lavish gifts, Purdy, 24, played Santa Claus for the San Francisco 49ers, while Burrow, 28, acted as Old Saint Nick for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Describing the gifts, he added: “They are all unique. Each sword comes with its own story, from certain cities or battles. He put them all in a room and told them to pick their own.”
“Joe does a great job of buying gifts that are extremely meaningful,” Bengals left tackle Orlando Brown told Dehner Jr. “The fact that he bought me a sword, that’s the oldest form of respect.”

But the gift-giving didn’t end there for professional athletes — Purdy also gave gifts to his linemate on Thursday.
“Santa Purdy 🎅,” the 49ers wrote on an Instagram carousel dedicated to the sweet surprise.
The first image shows the Arizona native standing with his offensive line, while a white Toyota SUV with a big red bow was parked between the group.

Video included in the photo review shows Purdy entering the room and apologizing to his teammates for making them wait.
“Guys, do you want to say ‘Merry Christmas.’ I have some gifts for you, sorry for the wait,” he said as he walked in to where the other players were sitting.
With smiles on everyone’s faces, he led them outside to “five redwoods” and “five Tundras” from Toyota for them to choose from.

The 2025 Toyota Tundra starts at $40,090 and the 2025 Sequoia starts at $62,175, bringing the total gift to at least $511,325.
While the exact total remains unknown, it’s worth noting that Purdy became a Toyota ambassador earlier this year with a national ad spot as the NFL’s official automotive partner while welcoming a new generation of Draft stars.
“I’ve driven a Toyota since my first season in the NFL, so this NFL Draft ad campaign marks a milestone for me to be in a national ad spot for the brand,” he said at the time.

Earlier this week, Mahomes gave his teammates a variety of gifts.

He also surprised his teammates with Rolex watches, Lucchese leather boots, Oakley sunglasses, WHOOP straps and products from Adidas’ Black Y-3 line.
It seems that the two Chiefs players were at the top of the nice list this year as they received Louis Vuitton luggage in addition to other gifts.
