Nia started her acting career in 2010 with the TV series Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha, in which she played the role of Anu. Next, she appeared in the TV series “Ishq Mein Marjawan” and “Behnein”. In 2011, Sharma played the lead role of Manvi in Star Plus’ drama series “Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai”. The portrayal of the character ‘Manvi’ earned her widespread recognition. After this, she played the role of ‘Roshini’ in Zee TV’s ‘Jamai Raja’.
