Nicola Coughlan dazzled on the red carpet at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards.
After making waves with her bold and original fashion choices during Bridgerton Season 3 press tour over the summer, the 37-year-old actress brought the same level of glamor to TV’s biggest night on Sunday, September 15.
The star stood out in a futuristic silver off-the-shoulder gown that featured a structured corset with a bubble peplum over a long skirt. She completed her look with a red pin by Artists4Ceasefire.
Coughlan’s glam look was more understated, with a simple half-updo and pink eyeshadow and blush. Delicate De Beers jewelry completed the look.

While Bridgerton season 3 won’t be eligible for Emmy nominations until the 2025 ceremony, Coughlan will present the award at tonight’s ceremony.

On BridgertonAt the London premiere in April, Coughlan looked striking in a 22-carat gold corset that paid tribute to her character Penelope Featherington’s third romance with Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). The item featured an anatomical heart design as a nod to her character’s romantic journey. It was just one of many memorable appearances on the press tour that played a key role in keeping it going Bridgerton fans have been talking about the fashion star all summer long.

While Coughlan wowed with her choice of looks, she was just as proud of what she didn’t wear on screen. In the May interview with Stylistrevealed that she “specifically requested that certain lines and moments be included” in the season — including an intimate nudity scene.

“There’s one scene where I’m very naked on camera, and that was my idea, my choice. I felt like the biggest ‘f— you’ in all the conversations surrounding my body; it was incredibly empowering,” she said. he said. “I felt beautiful in the moment and I thought, ‘When I’m 80, I want to look back at this and remember how fucking hot I looked!’ ”
She added that she feels “great” about the nudity scenes in the season “because not only did I agree to it, but I drove it.”
