“If I could create the perfect dream little sister, it’s her,” the actress told PEOPLE of her sister-in-law at the premiere of her new film ‘Lola’
Nicola Peltz Beckham and Harper Beckham are two peas in a pod!
At the premiere of Nicola’s directorial debut Lola on Saturday, the actress and model (29) reflected on her relationship with the younger sister of her husband, Brooklyn Beckham.
When asked if her real-life relationship with Harper, 12, inspired the sibling relationship featured in her new film, Nicola told PEOPLE that the pre-teen is “my dream little sister.”
“If I could create the perfect little sister of my dreams, it would be her,” she added. “I am so blessed to have her as a little sister in my life.”

Nicola also told PEOPLE at the Regency Bruin Theater that her character’s brother, Arlo, played by Luke David Blumm, is “based on” her godson, who also attended Saturday’s premiere.
“I took a lot of inspiration from him, from our relationship,” she said.
“And yes, I tried to capture the love and light of these people,” added Nicola. “Obviously some of the characters are fictional, but I hope people can feel that when they watch them.”

While Harper was not at the premiere, Nicole’s husband Brooklyn (24) and some other members of the Beckham family were.
On the red carpet, the pair posed for photos with Cruz and Victoria Beckham, with Nicola praising her mother-in-law for designing her premiere outfit – a custom corset and trouser set by Victoria’s synonymous brand.
“She’s a genius,” the actress told PEOPLE of the fashion designer, 49. “I’m so honored to be wearing this tonight. I feel so business but sexy and she’s a genius.”

Nicola has never been shy about showing off her close relationship with the Beckham family, including her sisterly bond with the youngest child.
Last October, the model and director shared a photo of her and Harper posing backstage at Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week. “Such a beautiful show with my little sister 🤍🤍🤍 congrats @victoriabeckham,” Nicola wrote in the caption.

Later in December, the pair shared another cute moment together, dancing together to Coi Leray’s “TWINNEM” on TikTok.
In the adorable “twinning” video, the sisters-in-law jump around in pink outfits and make-up while lip-synching together.
“Brimming with little sister 🩷🩷,” Nicola captioned the snap.
