Cage, who previously shared with PEOPLE that she wore a “Supergirl outfit” to his little girl’s birthday party, left the house after the birthday bash to promote the new film A24 — which comes from the minds of writer-director Kristoffer Borgli and associate producer Ari Aster.

According to a synopsis on TIFF’s website, the film follows an anonymous professor who begins appearing in other people’s dreams, making him an “overnight celebrity.”

TIFF and A24 shared a first look at the film last month, with Cage appearing unrecognizable in the role as he rocked bald hair, a gray beard and glasses. The A24 website notes that Michael Cera and Julianne Nicholson also star in the cast.

A dream scenario should arrive in theaters on November 10.
