Nicole Kidman Dazzles in Shimmering Black Halter Dress at The Perfect Couple Los Angeles Premiere

Nicole Kidman’s light only shines brighter ahead of the release of her latest project, Perfect Couple.

The Oscar winner, 57, attended the premiere of the upcoming Netflix limited series in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 5, wearing a long, shimmering black halter dress that dazzled on the red carpet.

The slightly sheer look, which was a custom Ferragamo design according to popular Instagram account checkthetag, was completed with a chic black blazer.

Kidman let her natural beauty shine through at the event on Wednesday, September 4 as she wore her hair down, pink blush and soft pink lips.

According to a press release, the six-episode series stars Kidman alongside Liev Schreiber as a wealthy couple whose son, Benji Winbury (Billy Howle), is set to marry Amelia Sacks (Eve Hewson).

“Her disapproving mother-in-law-to-be, famous writer Greer Garrison Winbury (played by Kidman), spares no expense in planning what promises to be the season premiere wedding — until a body turns up on the beach,” the synopsis explains.

“As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation that seems ripped from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect,” it added.

Meghann Fahy, Dakota Fanning, Ishaan Khatter and Jack Reynor round out the cast.

It’s been a busy few days for Kidman, whose upcoming film Girlin which he stars opposite Harris Dickinson, screened at the Venice Film Festival on Thursday, August 29.

The movie star attended the event wearing a Schiaparelli Couture Fall 2024 design that featured a bodice with a structured waist, sequins and intricate beading, along with a sexy slit.

“This is one woman’s story and I hope it’s a very liberating story,” Kidman said during a press conference for the Halina Reijn-directed project, which opens in theaters on Wednesday, December 25. “The story is a woman through her eyes … and that’s what, for me, made it so unique, was that I would suddenly find myself in the hands of a woman with this material.’
