Nicole Kidman took a bite and watched her daughter one of her recent hits.
The Expats says the 56-year-old actress Vogue Australia that her teenage daughter, 15-year-old Sunday Rose, recently sat watching Kidman’s HBO show, Big little lies.
Kidman said that playing Celeste – a role that personally won her an Emmy, SAG and Golden Globe – brought her a lot of attention and appreciation, but she was most struck by her daughter’s response.
“She has a very good understanding of things and life, so she was going through it,” Kidman said, noting that there were still scenes where she told the teenager to look away.
“And she said, ‘No. No more discussion. A third series has to happen…I’m sick of the story. She’s sick of circling. Just do it.’ ” Kidman laughed. “You need a teenager to go, ‘Enough. Just do it.'”
