Nikki Glaser Roasts Hollywood's Plastic Surgery Obsession at 2025 Golden Globes: 'Love Where You Put Your Cheekbones'

Nikki Glaser provided plenty of mic-dropping moments at the 2025 Golden Globes — from the red carpet to the stage!

Before her hosting duties, the stand-up comedian made a mark in a Prabal Gurung gold silk satin column gown featuring a skirted top and rosette detail at the hip. She continued her parade of outfit changes while hosting the event, including an array of sequin dresses and plunging necklines, totaling over 10 looks!

Her style was just as prominent as her kicks on stage. The comedian delivered just the right amount of sass as she made the A-list crowd erupt with laughter at everything from a mean joke involving Ben Affleck’s orgasms to a chirp directed at Harrison Ford and even a moment when she made Glen Powell blush.

She also took the moment to roast Hollywood’s not-so-secret love of plastic surgery, addressing the crowd with “I like where you put your cheekbones,” to a big reaction from the crowd.

She then said: “I drink a lot of water too. Don’t judge me. I do it now too,” before finishing by saying: “I love how meditation clears your eyelids – really nice,” in reference to the popular “lift” surgery blepharoplasty lid”.

The comedian hosted this year’s ceremony and was also nominated for Best Performance in a Stand-Up Comedy Program for her special Max, Nikki Glaser: You’re going to die one day.

Glaser kicked off Golden Globes week with a peek at her bold wardrobe choices. At the red carpet event on Jan. 2, the comedian wore a tailored Off-White look with a baggy jacket and wide-leg smoking pants in silver metallic fabric paired with a plunging black bodysuit with collar detailing. She chose smokey eye makeup with textured beachy waves to complete this look.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Glaser, who gained notoriety after her epic takedown of NFL legend Tom Brady at his Netflix roast in May, said that “it’s not for blood. I wish everyone a good night.”

“I’m really in the service of the people who are being honored there,” she added, noting that she plans to have some fun with the A-lister crowd during a “glamorous event where people take themselves way too seriously.”

Glaser, who hosts the CW’s dating series FBoy island, she said she plans to celebrate and gently toast the nominees tonight.

“I want Cynthia Erivo or Ariana Grande or Nicole Kidman to feel safe in my arms,” she told PEOPLE.

“Wicked and the press tour, and the finger-grabbing — that’s also for grabbing. And the fact that Ariana and Cynthia are now in on the joke made it much more accessible. It’s up for grabs. At the same time, you’re thinking, ‘Will it be funny in a month?'”

Musical drama Emilia Perez Starring Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldaña, and Selena Gomez is also uncertain, with Glaser joking, “Emilia Perez be the most nominated thing. No one has ever heard of it!”

“I think the Blake Lively–Justin Baldoni thing is so hot right now that even mentioning it would make it seem like I might be on the wrong side of things, even though I never would be,” Glaser told Yahoo ! Fun.

“I also don’t want to say his name – I’m mad that I even know his name, to be honest with you, so I don’t have to say it anymore,” she added.
