Nina Dobrev and Shaun White are enjoying their vacation in Barbados to the max!
The five-time Olympian, 37, shared an inside look at their island getaway in an Instagram post on Thursday, August 22. White included a carousel of photos and videos from their vacation, which featured scenes of Dobrev dancing to live music nearly three months after the motorcycle accident that left her seriously injured.
In a short clip, The Vampire Diaries alum, 35, dances next to her boyfriend, who cheers her on as she films. “Welcome to Barbados,” a voice can be heard as Dobrev sways to drumming in the background.

The couple, who traveled to the island to celebrate White’s mum’s birthday, also enjoyed a range of other fun activities together.
One video shows a retired snowboarder rocking a red swimsuit while standing on a boat. He waves to the camera and says “hi” before doing a backflip into the turquoise water.

Following in her son’s footsteps, White’s mom then appears to perform a cannonball from the ship in the second slide.
The three-time Olympic gold medalist also shared some snaps of him hugging his mom, after which mother and son shared drinks on a boat with Dobrev.

Earlier in August, Dobrev shared an update with PEOPLE about how she’s feeling following a May accident that required surgery for a torn ACL, meniscus and tibial plateau fracture.
“I think I’m doing pretty well,” she said at the time, adding that doctors “were quite surprised” at how quickly she was recovering. “I’m a little ahead of schedule in terms of healing, but it’s still a very long process.”
She continued: “There is still a way to go. And a lot of times at this point in the healing process, people get re-injured because they feel good. And so they start doing normal things. So I kind of have to remind myself that I’m still recovering and there’s still a little bit of time.”

Earlier this summer, White expressed his admiration for his girlfriend of more than four years and praised her for handling her recovery.
“She’s such a trooper. I mean, she really took her recovery so seriously,” he told PEOPLE. “She’s icing, she’s taking peptides, she’s doing this daily therapy. Honestly, she’s more diligent than me even when I was competing. So she recovered very quickly.”
