Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Kat Graham and More Tease a Vampire Diaries Reunion in New TikTok

It’s a reunion in Mystic Falls!

Nina Dobrev — who bounced between fiery vampire brothers Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley as Elena Gilbert on vampire Diaries — shared a video on TikTok on Sunday that got fans excited for the cast’s upcoming reunion.

Dobrev’s video features a host of her former co-stars pretending to pass each other’s phones and making suspicious faces, seemingly hinting at something bigger to come.

“🤫😉 #findmyiphone,” Dobrev, 34, captioned the video, which she started with a wink and a finger over her mouth, as if she was keeping a secret.

Wesley’s video was up next, followed by Kat Graham, who played Dobrev’s on-screen best friend and resident witch Bonnie Bennett, and then Candice King — aka Caroline Forbes — raised her glass in an on-screen “toast” when the next one appeared.

Kayla Ewell, who played the short-lived character Vicki Donovan, came next, and after that The originals star Claire Holt, who made a confused face for the camera before passing it on to Michael Trevino, who played werewolf-slash-vampire hybrid Tyler Lockwood. After Trevino’s cameo, the video returned to Dobrev, who wore a bemused look on her face after practically working with several of her former co-stars.

Since its publication just three hours ago, the video has been viewed more than 1.5 million times, and has gathered close to half a million likes.

In the comments, fans of the hit CW series, which ran from 2009 to 2017, shared their hopes that the video could hint at a cast reunion.

“This is an icon,” one person commented, while another asked, “WHAT DOES THIS MEAN NINA 😩😩😩.”

Several comments also pointed out that many famous faces are missing from the video, including Damon Salvatore himself, Ian Somerhalder, as well as Phoebe Tonkin, who became a fan favorite especially for her role in the spinoff series The originals.

Dobre’s TikTok comes just days before her long-awaited return to Mystic Falls is scheduled for Epic’s I Was Feeling Festive convention, which takes place Dec. 1-3 in Covington, Georgia, where the series was filmed.

Wesley, King, Ewell and Trevino will also attend the event, along with a number of other alumni vampire Diaries stars, including Zach Roerig (Matt Donovan), Daniel Gillies (Elijah Mikaelson), Matt Davis (Alaric Saltzman) and Michael Malarkey (Enzo).

Somerhalder was originally scheduled to attend the convention – which would have been the first time the entire cast had reunited since the series ended six years ago – but in August organizers announced he was no longer on the guest list.
