Amit Bhalla, popularly known by his stage name ‘Ninja’, is a Punjabi singer, lyricist and actor. He came into the limelight with his Punjabi song ‘Thokda Reha’.

Ninja was born on Wednesday, March 6, 1991 (33 years old; as of 2024) in Dholewal Chownk, Ludhiana, Punjab. His star sign is Pisces.
Childhood Ninja
He loved music from a young age. His father owned a small music café where Ninja would often listen to Kuldeep Manak’s songs and sing along. He made his stage debut in class 8. After hearing his singing, his friends and teachers encouraged him to participate in inter-school competitions. While in school, Ninja won many awards for his singing skills. After completing his schooling, Ninja enrolled in Arya College, Ludhiana to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree. However, due to financial instability, he dropped out of school. Later, with financial support from his friends and teachers, he graduated from the same college with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Profession
Ninja started his music career in 2014 with the Punjabi song “Annd Mannd Ka Tola”. The song was a huge failure. Later, he released the Punjabi song “Thokda Reha”, which was a huge hit and brought recognition to Ninja.
He then went on to release many Punjabi hits like ‘Challa (Dushman)’, ‘Jattan Da Putt Mada Ho Gya’, ‘Oh Kyu Ni Jaan Ske’, ‘Gal Jatan Wali’, ‘Aadat’ and ‘Pindaan Veer Jat’.

He made his acting debut with the Punjabi film Channa Mereya in 2017. Since then, he has acted in films like High End Yaariya, Ardab Mutiyara, Doorbeen and Zindgi Zindabad.

- During college, he worked part-time at Vodafone as a team leader, earning Rs 2,500 a month.
- Ninja approached several audio companies to release his first song, but the money they asked for was very high. As he had a limited budget at the time, Ninja decided to release the song himself.
- Ninja revealed in an interview that he has a very aggressive nature and he wants to change that behavior.
- Before embarking on his singing career, Ninja weighed 130 kg. It took him about two and a half years to lose the excess weight and get in shape.
