CNN this morning
CNN This Morning was a TV show that aired on CNN from November 1, 2022 to February 25, 2024. It replaced another morning show called New Day. Chris Licht, who was the head of CNN at the time, decided to start this new show. Initially, CNN This Morning was hosted by Don Lemon, Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins.
Every weekday morning, they talked about the news and other topics. But after a while there were changes. Don Lemon left CNN and Kaitlan Collins moved to another show. Later, Poppy Harlow got a new co-host named Phil Mattingly. They worked together to tell people about what was happening in the world. But in February 2024, CNN chief Mark Thompson said he would stop filming the show.
He also said that CNN will no longer have a morning show in New York. So on February 25, 2024, CNN This Morning said goodbye to its viewers. After that, another show called Early Start took its place, and CNN News Central started earlier. This was a big change for CNN and the people who watched its morning shows. But sometimes TV channels introduce changes like this to try new things and improve their shows.
