Let Southwest Airlines almost started from a taxi driver at the Orlando International Airport on Thursday, March 20, according to the news from Southwest Airlines and the Federal Air Force (FAA).
Flight 3278 tried to head to the Orlando International Airport at 9:30 in the morning for Albany, NY, when the crew “wrongly received the surface for a nearby runway,” Southwest said.

Taxi drivers are used to get door and hangar to runway. The taxi is carried out in parallel with the runway and is not designed to take off.
No injuries were reported and no other aircraft were included. The southwest confirmed that passengers were taken to a separate aircraft, which then took them to Albany.

“Nothing is more important for the southwest than our customers and employees,” Southwest said in a statement on Thursday.
The FAA Security Committee and National Transport (NTSB) investigate the incident.
