NIOS warns against fake websites and mobile apps
NIOS Issues Alert: National Institute of Open Education (NIOS) has released a total of 32 fake URLs and mobile apps that resemble the real website. These fake websites are spreading wrong information about NIOS. These platforms copy the home pages and content of the original website with fraudulent intent. NIOS states, “The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has noticed that some fake websites and apps are providing misleading information about NIOS.”
Further, the official clarifies that all information regarding the NIOS exam and results will be available on the official website: nios.ac.in only. The Open Education Committee has warned all stakeholders that answering online on such websites or apps could lead to the compromise of key personal information that could be misused.
