Nirmal Kakar was born in New Delhi on Wednesday, March 27, 1963 (age 60 years 2023). Her zodiac sign is Aries. She attended Salwan Girls High School, Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi. In 1983, she pursued a bachelor’s degree in music from Daulatram College, New Delhi. She graduated in Hindustani Vocal Music and then started working as a music teacher at Barbati Public School, Pusa Road, New Delhi. After working there for a while, she moved to Mumbai with her husband and daughter.

In 2023, Nirmal appeared on the music series “Big Band Theory” with her daughters and sang the song “Maavan Te Dheeyan”. The song talks about the relationship between a mother and her daughter. Nirmal said in an interview that it was a very emotional journey for them.
