Nitin was born on September 1, 1971 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He has been interested in singing since he was a child, and his dream came true in 1998 when his first album “Na Jaane” was released. During his singing career, he participated in countless stage performances and released several albums, which made him a huge success.

On October 9, 2018, around 12:30 am, his car hit the divider on SV Road in suburban Borivali and he was involved in a car accident. According to his medical report, he was drinking alcohol while driving, lost control and hit the divider. He was injured and taken to hospital for treatment. He was also arrested by the local Kasturba Marg police for negligent driving. However, his wife, Roma Williams, released him after posting bail. In the early hours of the same day, he returned home and started vomiting blood and his blood pressure dropped, after which his wife rushed him to Lakshadweep Hospital in Malad West, Mumbai, where he was declared dead.
