Noah Nirmal Tom is an Indian athlete and a Junior Warrant Officer (JCO) of the Indian Air Force, competing in the 400m and 4 x 400m relay categories. He represented India at the 2019 World Championships in Doha in the men’s 4x400m relay team along with Amoj Jacob, Muhammed Anas and K Suresh Jeevan. Noah has booked a place on the relay team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

In October 2019, Noah participated in the men’s 400-meter event at the 2019 National Track and Field Open, with a time of 45.88 seconds. In October 2019, Noah competed in the 4x400m mixed relay at the World Athletics Championships in Doha along with Mohamed Anas, VK Vismaya and Jisna Mathew, but finished in 3:03.09. Finished seventh in the finals.
Noah competes in the men’s 4x400m relay at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics alongside teammates Mohammad Anas Yahiya, Arokiya Rajiv and Amoji Jacobs.

In March 2022, Noah participated in the Indian Grand Prix-2 held in Bhuvneshwar and achieved a time of 46.19 seconds.
In April 2022, Noah competed in the men’s 4x400m relay at the 2022 National Senior Interstate Athletics Championships along with Mohammad Anas Yahya, Amoji Jacob and Arojia Rajiv . Noah participated in the men’s 400-meter race at the 25th AFI National Federation Cup Senior Track and Field Championships in April 2022, with a time of 46.81 seconds. In June 2022, he participated in the men’s 400 meters race in the 7th International Sprint Relay Cup held at the Atatürk University Stadium in Erzurum with a time of 45.83 seconds. Noah participated in the National Senior Inter-State Athletics Championships at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai in June 2022 and clocked a time of 46.44 seconds in the men’s 400m category. - Noah’s physical education teacher, José Sebastian, first discovered his talent at school and suggested that he pursue track training. In an interview, Noah said of his coach:
My school coach, José Sebastian, recognized my talent, pursued a career in sports, and began tutoring me. Thereafter, in 2010, I enrolled at the Sports Authority of India Kozhikode hostel.
- Noah considers Indian sprinter Mohammad Anas to be his inspiration. Noah said of him in an interview:
I consider Mohamad Anas as my inspiration and he is also from the same discipline as me. I always look at challenges from his perspective, as if he can do it, I can do it.

As a student, I often found solace on the playground rather than in the classroom. I used to play football instead of track. It was in sixth standard that I started my athletics career,”
- While training at SAI (Sports Authority of India), he met coach George P Joseph who suggested him to compete in the 400m category. In 2014, he joined the Indian Air Force (IAF) and started 400m training under the guidance of coach Raj Mohan MK. In an interview, talking about how he started training for the 400m group, he said:
Coach George P Joseph changed my schedule to the 400m, which was the biggest turning point in my career. From there I joined the Indian Air Force in 2014, under coach Rajmohan MK, who made me a professional 400m runner and made me run 45 minutes 96 seconds, which I entered in October 2018 India training camp.
