The children of Sumay Suleman share as far as they know about their biological fathers.
During the episode of March 17 Octomoma acknowledgments, Suleman, 49, revealed that she had always intended to raise a large family. She used two sperm donors – one he knew the other anonymous from the Sperm Bank – to imagine her 14 children.
But in the new episode of the Lifetime series, her children opened up for growing up with a single mother and their curiosity about their father’s identity.
“Personally, I’m never interested in who my biological father is,” said 21-year-old son Suleman Joshua. “She explained to me that he was hers, that’s all I needed to know.”

While Suleman’s eldest son Elija refused to talk about it, her oldest daughter American, who is now 22, said she was very curious about her father’s identity when she was younger. In fact, she once went behind her mother’s back to find out more.

“I actually found him on Facebook when I was 12,” she split. “I came to him.
“But after that, I never felt the need,” she continued. “I have no need to meet him, not because I don’t know him.

“Eight” Amerah thought that the first survivors of the Octoplets in the world when Suleman, who was referred to as “aromantic and asexual,” gave birth to in 2009. She had six children earlier, including two sets of twins, using a friend’s sperm. Now, 16 years later, they discovered that Suleman had answered their questions about their father.
“When I was like six or seven, I would see people with dads and things, and I asked my mom if we had a dad, and then she said she wasn’t.

Asked if they felt a void without a father in their life, Octulette Nariyah said no.
“We never needed a father, because we have a mom and we have God,” she explained. “So, we never wanted it and I just believe that in my life I don’t really need any other parental figure because my mom is more than enough for that.”

Suleman recently opened to people about her experience of raising her children and navigating questions about their complicated story.
“I’m honest, I’m very transparent with everyone,” Suleman said, noting that when it came to explain things to his vinegar, “I told them to come from an anonymous frozen donor and I bought one, that was one dad.”
Although Suleman said her children were “joking,” Oh, so we are baby tubes? “” Emphasizes that her family, like any other despite their unique story of origin.
