Odisha Schools Closed Tomorrow: According to latest updates, Odisha Primary, Upper Primary, Higher Secondary and Anganwadi Centers will remain closed tomorrow, December 6, 2023. The holiday has been announced by the Collector’s office and the District Magistrate of Gajapati. due to Cyclone Michaung.

According to an official statement, in view of the possibility of heavy rainfall due to Cyclone Michaung over the Bay of Bengal, all primary, upper primary, high school and Anganwadi centers in Oisha will remain closed on 6th December 2023. Students, parents and teachers are advised to contact the authorities school authorities for further updates.

The notice to close schools was given keeping in mind the possibility of a cyclonic storm forming over the Bay of Bengal. According to reports, the storm which first moved to the coastal side of Tamil Nadu slowly moved away from the state and started approaching Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.

Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh schools closed

Schools in four districts of Tamil Nadu and NTR and Krishna districts of Andhra Pradesh remain closed today, December 5, 2023. The holiday was declared yesterday due to Cyclone Michaung and the flood and inundation situation in prominent regions of Tamil Nadu. as per the published official notification, all schools, colleges, educational institutions and government offices will remain closed in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram and Chengalpattu districts. Students are advised to contact schools for further updates.
