At the end of the video, both Lisa and Culpo struck a pose — as Lisa exclaimed, “Let’s go!” — on the eve of the 49ers-Buccaneers matchup. This game marks Christian’s debut in the 2024 season after being placed on injured reserve with bilateral Achilles tendinitis, according to ESPN.
“Sometimes you take it for granted that this game is what you do for a living and it’s what you do, it’s what you train for, but when it’s taken away from you, even just for a short time, it makes you really appreciate every day that you’re on the grass,” Christian told reporters Friday, according to the release.

It’s been a big year for Christian and Culpo, who tied the knot in her home state of Rhode Island on June 29. The couple first sparked romance rumors back in May 2019, before finally getting engaged in April 2023.
Speaking to reporters in August, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan joked about the star running back’s “obsessive” mentality for his career and how Christian was probably thinking about football during his wedding day. “Walking down the aisle to get married, he’s probably thinking about his feet and how to do routes,” Shanahan told reporters, adding, “No offense to Olivia.”
“He’s obsessed with it,” the coach continued. “And so when you get into those situations where you get hurt and you can’t go do all those things, at least he put in the work sooner.”
At the time, Shanahan added that Christian “understands what it takes to play in this game, especially at the level he’s at.” So far, the 49ers — who lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2024 Super Bowl — are 4-4 after an Oct. 27 win against the Dallas Cowboys.
