Olivia Munn says baby Méi is ‘extra sleeper’ and ‘extra eater’ in sweet daughter update: ‘She’s so cute’

“There were many people who were instrumental in saving my life, but it was my gynecologist @drthaisaliabadi who put me on the path to survival,” she continued. “She used the Tyrer-Cuzick risk assessment test to calculate my risk of getting breast cancer. My high score led me down a path of many tests that resulted in a cancer diagnosis.”

Munn added: “The test is free, online and only takes a few minutes. To pass it, you can google ‘Tyrer-Cuzick test’ or you can go to Dr. Aliabadi’s website SheMD.org (@shemdpodcast) and also get actions on what to do depending on your risk percentage.”

On September 22, Munn announced that she and Mulaney had their second baby together via gestational surrogate. It comes after she spoke to PEOPLE in April about her “scary” breast cancer diagnosis last year — which saw her undergo four surgeries, a double mastectomy and a medically induced menopause.

“Méi June Mulaney came into the world on September 14, 2024, the year of the dragon🐉,” the mother of two wrote in her Instagram post alongside a photo of her sitting on her husband’s lap while holding their daughter in a hospital room.

The carousel also featured a close-up shot of Méi before the newborn was caught in her mother’s arms as Munn sat on a couch in front of a view of the sky.

“I had so many deep emotions about not being able to carry my daughter. When I first met our gestational surrogate, we talked mother to mother,” Munn added in her caption. “She showed me so much grace and understanding, I knew I had found a real angel. Words cannot express my gratitude for watching over our baby for 9 months and making our dreams come true.”

“I’m so proud of my little plum, my little dragon, for making the journey to be with us. My heart exploded – the proud mom continued. “Méi (pronounced May) means plum in Chinese 梅💜.”
