Olivia Rodrigo Details What Her Ideal Day Off Looks Like — Including the ‘Beach’ and ‘a Glass of Wine’ (Exclusive)

A day off is never a “bad idea” for Olivia Rodrigo.

During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE on the nya EAST red carpet of the Netflix premiere Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS World TourThe 21-year-old pop star revealed what her ideal day off looks like.

“Oh my God, wake up, go have lunch with my friends, maybe write a song or something,” she says.

Rodrigo also adds that she likes to “go to the beach”.

“I like to go to the beach and then sit in the hot tub with a glass of wine,” says the “good 4 u” singer.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Rodrigo talked about how “terrified” she felt during the first night of her GUTS world tour.

“I was like, ‘I should have practiced more… like I needed three more weeks to practice this thing,'” she told PEOPLE. “But I said, ‘Oh, well, I’m moving on.’ ”

But Rodrigo recalled “such a beautiful moment” with her parents and friends offstage.

“I remember coming off the stage and my mom, dad and all my friends were there to support me and cheer me on,” she said. “We drank champagne. And it was such a beautiful moment. I will remember that forever.”

The “Vampire” singer said her hands were shaking from nerves while playing the piano during early tour stops.

“I was so scared I was going to mess up,” Rodrigo said. “And the last one, I feel like I could really, like, sit in it and just enjoy it.”

Olivia Rodrigo recalls ‘terrification’ on first night of her GUTS world tour: ‘I should have practiced more’ (Exclusive)

The High School Musical: Musical: Series star INTESTINES The documentary World Tour, directed by James Merryman, is set to premiere on Netflix on October 29.

“I’m so excited to share INTESTINES A world tour with my fans,” Rodrigo said in a statement when the special was originally announced. “For those of you who haven’t had a chance to party in person, now you can have the best seats in the house! And to the fans who cheered, screamed and danced with me, I’m so glad we’re going to do it all again!”

The GUTS World Tour kicked off on February 23rd in Palm Springs with Chappelle Roan as Rodrigo’s opening act. Also on the tour were The Breeders, Remi Wolf, PinkPantheress and Benee.
