Olivia Wilde Is Feeling ‘All’ the Birthday Love as She Turns 40

Happy birthday, Olivia Wilde!

The director and actress celebrated her 40th birthday on Sunday. The next morning, Wilde shared a photo of herself with a smile on her face and her eyes closed on Instagram to mark her birthday.

“This sums up how I feel about 40. Thank you so much for the birthday love you sent me yesterday,” Wilde captioned her post. “I felt it / I feel everything. 🪩♥️🪩”

Lisa Rinna was among those who commented on Wilde’s post to wish her well. “40 looks fantastic on you!🔥”, wrote Rinna (60) in the comment.

Wilde shared two additional photos to her Instagram Story as she marked her birthday on Monday. In one photo, she can be seen posing for a selfie in the elevator mirror with her friend and actress Megalyn Echikunwoke, while another picture shows her posing with Echikunwoke and Issa Rae.

“Barbie president for real president please,” Wilde wrote over the photo, referring to Rae’s role in 2023. Barbie movie as the president of BarbieLand.

Wilde recently appeared at Saint Laurent’s Fall/Winter Paris Fashion Week show in France in February alongside Zoë Kravitz, Lila Moss, Georgia May Jagger and Elsa Hosk, among others. A few days later, she shared a photo on Instagram of herself snowmobiling in Finland, which appears to have been taken on the same European trip. Back in January, Wilde was seen at the premiere of her friend Kate Berlant’s solo show Kate at the Pasadena Playhouse.

Wilde is out in 2022 Don’t worry dearher second effort as a director after the 2019 comedy Booksmart. Wilde also appeared in Don’t worry dear as an actor. She has since appeared alongside Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie in 2022 Babylon and starred with Chris Pine in a fictional podcast series called Ad Lucem.

Wilde is working on several upcoming film projects as a director, including a film about gymnast Kerri Strug’s experience at the 1996 Olympics and a holiday film titled Mischief, according to her IMDb page. Only in December 2022. The Hollywood Reporter reported that Wilde has been tapped to direct the Marvel superhero film for Sony Pictures Entertainment.
