After completing her postgraduate studies, she worked as an intern with fashion designers like Rahul Mishra, Namrata Joshipura and Rina Dhaka. Her first television commercial as a model was for Himalaya Toothpaste directed by Shirsha Guha.
Later, she appeared as a model in many television commercials and print ads including Nivea, Limca, Lux, Kalyan Jewellers and Airtel 4G.

I was a back row student and used to sketch in between business lectures. Most of the drawings I made were of expressive eyes or girls walking on the ramp in fancy clothes. My classmates used to make fun of me. They would say, “What the hell are you doing in business, you are an ‘artist’. This is not for you. Go apply for some creative courses!” A very good friend of mine once encouraged me to take risks. She told me to follow my heart.”

At that time, I was living a monotonous life. Working a 9-to-9 job made me realize the lack of freedom and growth. ”
