Bourada, who goes by the username @michaelthemagician, posted a video last week that quickly garnered hundreds of views.

“Can you figure this out?” he asked her, holding the metal device in her hand.

The magician said it had a nut threaded onto a bolt that caught the barrel in the middle.

“In the middle, I have a little pipe, so we can spin it,” Bourada explained. “He’s locked in there.”

He then said that he could tighten the nut to lock the tube in place.

After tightening the nut, he stuffed everything into the tube and shook it out.

“What’s really cool is, look at this, it actually comes undone: the nut, the bolt, the tube, everything,” the magician said.

“And that doesn’t make sense.”

Watch the video again and see how she is holding the walnut.

If you look closely, you can see that he doesn’t take his hand off the nut that he says holds the barrel in place.

The nut is already loose, but the trick is to make it look like it’s tight.

After getting everything in the tube, it comes undone easily because the nut wasn’t on in the first place.

Many users picked up on the trick, commenting things like “Nut has [a] larger in diameter than a ta-da screw”.

Another person commented, “No, that’s a loose screw.”

Bourada is a self-proclaimed magician, based on his TikTok bio, and he regularly posts short tricks that you can watch and try to solve.
