In the comments of the video, Max wrote: “The first and the last one are the hardest to get.”
The first illusion shows Max defeating gravity, first with two differently shaped objects moving in opposite directions down the hill.
Another illusion involves a small statue of a pig that appears to be on top of a circular mirror.
But the pig is actually below the reflective surface, making it look like it’s somewhere else.
The third illusion involves two objects of the same size: one yellow and one red.
But when Max places them, they appear to be different sizes.
He then places them back on top of each other to show that they are actually the same size.
The video has been viewed more than 4.6 million times.
Some viewers were quick to catch all three illusions, while others had trouble.
“I guess the first one uses magnets. The third one is a holographic trick and the last one is placement,” wrote one TikToker.
“The physics and optics are great! I still remember when the professor showed us the one with the pig!” someone else commented.
Others were more frustrated by illusions.
“That pig pisses me off,” wrote one TikToker.
“Can’t get the last one,” lamented another.
“You didn’t beat gravity, you just beat my brain,” another chimed in.
