Outer Range season 2 delves further into sci-fi territory: trailer and narrative details
The second season of Outer Range has not yet received an official trailer. The next season, on the other hand, will likely take a deep dive into the events of the previous season. The first season ended with a shocking surprise, leaving fans in the dark. As the first season drew to a close, many revelations emerged. Royal Abbott, the main character of the show, stated that he went back in time and accidentally killed his father during the 1800s. He then ran away, saw a vacuum, jumped into it to avoid remorse, and reappeared about 80 years later.
The first season took a bittersweet turn as viewers saw Perry Abbott suffer through the sudden disappearance of his wife, which eventually led to melancholy. Perry also admitted to the murder of one of Tillerson’s boys in the series, and suspected that his wife’s absence was caused by a gap. He also revealed Rebecca’s absence to his father. When Perry realized the truth about his father, he jumped into the abyss, thickening the story.
The first season of Outer Range also introduced Autumn, Perry’s daughter who came from the future. Autumn’s lover Billy is killed because of her heated conflict with her grandfather.
