Outlander actor Gregory Odjig is awaiting trial on charges of raping a woman.
The 45-year-old actor, who plays Satehoroni in the fourth season of the series, allegedly carried out the attack at the Premier Suites Plus apartments on Bath Street in Glasgow on May 16, 2021.
Prosecutors argued that the victim was drunk and asleep or unconscious and therefore could not consent. Odjig also faces a charge of assault with a fist to the head.

The case went to trial at the High Court in Glasgow on Wednesday.
Odjig’s KC Ronnie Renucci said: “He pleaded not guilty to the charges in the indictment.”
Defense attorneys said Odjig was not present at the hearing and is currently living in Canada. He remains free until his trial takes place in June 2024 and is expected to last five days.
