Pablo Montero: Personal Development, Relationships and Dating
Montero was in a relationship with Aracely Arámbula from around 2000 to 2003. In 2006, there were rumors of a romance with his Duelo de Pasiones co-star Ludwik Paleta, who was married to Mexican actor Plutarc Haza. Montero and Paleta denied the rumors until a video of them kissing was released to the public. This allegedly led to Ludwika Paleta’s divorce from her husband. Paleta and Plutarco Haza later reconciled. On August 31, 2007, two days after Montero announced the nominees for the 2007 Latin Grammy Awards, Miami police reported that they stopped Montero and a passenger after their white BMW SUV ran a red light. During the investigation, police discovered a clear bag that tested positive for cocaine, and it was claimed by Montero.
However, in court the following month, Montero pleaded not guilty to possession of cocaine, was found guilty and sentenced to probation pending completion of a court-ordered drug program. Montero was jailed in 2008 for violating the terms of his probation, but was released after completing a drug rehab program. Montero completed his addiction treatment program on February 20, 2009.
With his ex-wife Carolina Van Wielink, he has a son, Daniel Hernandez Piedra, born on February 22, 2006, and a son, Pablo Hernandez Vidal, born on September 28, 2007, as well as two daughters, Carolina Hernandez Van Wielink, born on February 27, 2012. and Daniela Hernandez Van Wielink, born May 24, 2014. His brother Oliver was killed in a robbery attempt in June 2010. Javier Hernández, his brother, was also killed on June 13, 2013.
