Paige Hurd, the star of Power Book II: Ghost, began acting at a young age and achieved her breakthrough role in the landmark comedy Everybody Hates Chris. Hurd was cast as Lauren Baldwin in the Starz original series Power Book II: Ghost, a prequel to the well-known Power series. Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey) is faced with a new reality after his father’s murder and his mother’s incarceration in the sequel. Hurd’s Baldwin was the love interest of Rainey’s Tariq, and fans adored them for their chemistry.

Although the stars have never hinted that they are in a relationship, people are speculating that they are. During Hurd’s birthday, Rainey posted a collage of them and wished her a happy birthday. Others followed suit, wishing the actress a happy birthday, while some curious fans asked if the actors were dating. When Rainey posted a picture of himself half-hugging Hurd, followers wondered the same thing.

They weren’t alone, even on Twitter. Fans went crazy when their characters kissed in the show, longing for them to be together. One user took to Twitter. “Is it confirmed that Tariq and Lauren are indeed dating?” Another user reshared Hurd and Rainey’s collage of pictures with the caption, “Tariq and Lauren show off-screen chemistry.” However, Hurd confirmed that she is not seeing anyone in response to a user who said he was sad when he found out he had a boyfriend and kissed Tariq. She is, however, open-minded when it comes to dating, admitting to WMagazine that she responds to some of the attractive men who enter her DMs.

While Power fans are rooting for Hurd and Rainey, others are hoping she’ll date her longtime friend Quincy Jones, the adopted son of Sean Combs, aka Diddy. On June 5, Hurd posted a series of pictures and videos on Instagram in honor of Jones’ 30th birthday, along with a meaningful statement. Woof. “We’ve been rocking since we were 15 and we’ve been there for each other through it all.” wonderful, fun, ugly and sometimes difficult times in our lives.”

She also said how grateful she is to have him in her life and how much she loves him. Some fans indicated in the comments area that they wanted to be more than friends, with one adding: “Let’s go on a date, get married smh.” Friends who have known each other for a long time make the best couple.” No one knows if Hurd currently has a boyfriend. She seems to be quite discreet about her romantic life.
