On March 2, 2018, Palash Muchhal was booked by the Uttar Pradesh police for misbehaving with organizing committee personnel during the Taj Mahotsava event in Agra. Committee member Sudhir Narain complained that Palash had a heated argument with Palak Muchhal on February 27, 2018, when he was performing at an event. Palash accused the committee of treating his mother poorly. According to Sudhir Narain, he was slapped and threatened by Palash during the incident. The FIR was registered under Sections 323, 504, 506, 332 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code.
