I have indeed broken up with Aniket. It’s been a few months now and the decision was a mutual one. It’s very personal and I don’t want to talk about it. Sometimes you feel someone is right for you at a certain age, but as you get older and mature, your mind changes.”
Profession
She started her career as a theatre performing artist. Her first play was the Marathi play Tu Tu Mee Mee by Kedar Shinde. Later, she acted in many Marathi and Hindi plays.

In 2003, she made her debut as an actress in the Marathi television series “Saheb Bibi Aani Mee”. She has acted in several Marathi television series such as “Guntata Hriday He” (2011), “Shriyut Gangadhar Tipre” (2012), “Char Divas Sasuche” (2013) and “Adhuri Ek Kahani” (2019). She made her Hindi television debut in the series “Tumhari Disha” (2004) in the role of Preeta. Later, she appeared in many Hindi television series including “Karam Apnaa Apnaa” (2006), “Kasamh Se” (2007), “Godh Bharaai” (2010), “Mahabharat” (2013) and “Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat” (2015).
Pallavi has also acted in Marathi television comedy shows like Comedy Express (2012) and Comedy Odd Bullet Train (2014).
Movie
She made her debut as an actress in the Marathi film Polisachi Bayko in 2003. Pallavi has acted in several Marathi films such as Kunku Zale Vairi (2005), Dhava Dhava Khun Khun (2013) and Miranda House (2019).
She has acted in films in different languages including Om (Tamil; 2008), Rascal (Kannada; 2008), Naruda Donoruda (Telugu; 2016). She has also acted in Sinhala (Sri Lankan) films such as Bimba Devi aka Yashodhara (2018) and Ghar Hota Menacha (2018).

- Indian producer Ekta Kapoor calls her Misal Pav. In an interview, she shared the reason behind it. She said,
When Ekta asked me to do Karam…I said no. Then she called me to her office and asked me what was the recipe of Misal pav. After I told her the recipe, she ordered it for everyone. While eating the pav, she again asked me to do the role. I agreed. Since then she has called me Misal pav.”
- In an interview, she shared that she wanted to be an advocate but she received an opportunity to act in a play so she decided to pursue acting as a career.

- In an interview, she shared why she opted out of Indian film director Gautham Menon’s film in 2014. She said,
I am so happy to be a part of Gautham sir’s project and I am grateful that they thought of casting me in this role. It was definitely a dream launch for me. We launched the project in October 2013 and the promos were launched in February 2014. After that, things changed. There was a delay and they started a new project (Yennai Arindhaal) and it was completely up to them which project had to be done first, which I totally agreed to as it was their decision\ but I had been waiting for so long. Then, after waiting for a year and a half, I finally agreed to be a part of a TV show. So, when they started the project again, I was not able to give them the dates they wanted.”
