Pantone’s 2024 Color of the Year Is Splashed All Over Cariuma’s Newest Comfy Canvas Sneakers

We don’t know about you, but we’re feeling pretty stoked right now.

Pantone has just revealed its color of the year for 2024, and do you know what that means? The paint company once again collaborated with customers with the favorite shoe brand Carium. The four new pairs of sneakers that include this year’s lucky winner, the Peach Fuzz, are now available in three classic styles — Oca Low, Salvas and Naioca — and are priced from $89 to $149.

The “velvety, soft tone of peach,” as the brand describes it, “accentuates our desire for togetherness and the feelings it creates,” as well as evokes good feelings and vibes that we can “feel, heal, and flourish.” And while last year’s vibrant fuschia color is hard to top, this peach pick might even be, dare we say, even more wearable?

The style and design of the Oca Low sneakers have won over thousands of customers, many of whom now own more than one pair. And as far as we can tell, everything else, like the cork insert, rubber outsole, and canvas fabric, remains the same with this rig. The brand will also continue to plant two trees for every pair purchased.

Unlike last year’s Viva Magenta (which you can still buy!), the Peach Fuzz is closer in color to a pair of beige sneakers. But it’s still just that — color. Luckily, the Oca Lows also come in a leather version and only have a few paint spots. As for pricing, they’re a bit more of an investment, coming in at $60 more than their canvas counterpart.

They both look quite similar at first glance – albeit with overlapping colors and different materials – although again, canvas is more affordable. Both pairs also feature a prominent Cariuma logo on the side.
