Stopped by the police for not wearing a seat belt
In March 2007, Parag was stopped by a police officer named Narsingh Himabhai while driving for not wearing a seat belt. He was fined Rs 100, which he initially refused to pay but later paid under the pseudonym Maganbhai C Patel. The use of a false name reportedly sparked an argument and Parag’s wife Meenaben slapped the constable and threatened to crush his skull. Narsingh filed a complaint against them. The case was settled in Vadodara local court in 2011.
