Paris Hilton and Demi Lovato are baking for their loved ones this holiday season.
Celebrities gathered for Lovato’s holiday special with Roku. PEOPLE has an exclusive look at Paris Hilton’s role in the upcoming TV event, titled A very demi holiday special.
For a special treat, Hilton, 42, joins Lovato, 31, in the kitchen to make pet-friendly cookies for their dogs. In the first preview clip from the special, the stars work on decorating their colorful cupcakes with mashed potato frosting.
“I love mashed potatoes,” Hilton says when Lovato tells her about the decorating step. “That’s a good idea for human food; a mashed potato glaze on a steak would be sick.”
As Hilton and Lovato add flair to their celebratory cakes, they talk about how much they love their pups.
“The lengths we go to for our dogs is unbelievable,” says Hilton, who got a new puppy in July.
“My dogs are such a big part of the family, obviously, but during the holidays, having them open presents with us Christmas morning is really sweet,” Lovato replies as she frosts her dog cake.

The pair put the finishing touches on their dog dessert masterpieces and then decide to put them to the test. In the next clip, Hilton and Lovato are standing in front of the mini-house that Hilton made for her dogs, getting ready to let their pets try out what they made.
“I think we killed it,” Hilton says of the final cupcakes she and Lovato decorated.
“We killed it, for sure,” Lovato agrees.
