ASTRO member Cha Eun-woo, who recently starred in the blockbuster drama True Beauty, is returning to the small screen. The actor accepted to play the lead role in a Korean romantic drama. Park Gyu-young, who starred in Dali and Cocky Prince, will play the female lead opposite Cha Eun-woo on the show. The working title of the show is A Good Day To Be A Dog.
The series is based on a webcomic and is scheduled to begin production in October 2022. No broadcast time has been confirmed yet. The show is also not currently affiliated with a broadcast network. Lee Hyun-woo will also play an important role in the show. He became famous after playing the role of Rio in Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area, the Korean version of Money Heist.

A Good Day to Be a Dog is a literal translation of the webcomic title. This was written by Lee Hye and was praised by manhwa fans across the country. Han Hae-na, a single woman working as a high school teacher, is the subject of a webcomic. This is the character that Park Gyu-young will play. This webcomic has an element of fantasy. Hae na’s ancestors made a mistake and are cursed for it. This curse still exists to this day.
According to the curse, if someone in the family kisses someone, they will be turned into dogs at midnight and in dog form for 6 hours. They then revert to their human form. This happens every night until the person in dog form kisses the person back.
Hae-na wants to escape this tragedy, so whenever she meets potential love, she asks them not to kiss. Men disappeared from her life as soon as she mentioned it. After getting drunk, a disgruntled Hae-na accidentally kisses Jin Seo-won, played by Cha Eun-woo. He’s a teacher at the same high school where Hae-na works.
Unfortunately for Hae-nu, Seo-won, Cha Eun’s character, Woo, is afraid of dogs. This is the result of a traumatic event he experienced as a child. As a result, Hae-na finds it difficult to approach Seo-won. The story revolves around whether she can get him to kiss the dog.
