In 2015, she began training in archery. In 2017, she started professional training at Panjab University in Patiala, Punjab, under the guidance of coach Surinder Singh Randhawa.
In 2019, she won a silver medal in the archery event at the National Interschool Championships. In November 2021, she participated in the women’s individual compound event of the Asian Archery Championships held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and defeated Vietnamese player Zhou Qiaoying 147-144. She won the women’s individual compound bronze medal at the 2022 Asian Archery Cup in Sharjah, UAE.
In March 2023, she defeated Iran’s Delgeson Binova Panit Kaur 143-141 at the Asian Cup in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She competed in the 2023 World Archery Youth Championships in Limerick, Ireland. In the same year, she defeated the Mexican team 235-229 in the final and won the gold medal in the compound women’s team event. She won a bronze medal in the compound women’s team at the 2023 Archery World Cup in Medellín.
She was part of the Indian women’s compound archery team that won the gold medal at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, beating Chinese Taipei 230-219.

- In her spare time, she likes to read books. Her favorite book is The Race of My Life: An Autobiography by Milkha Singh, which she has read many times.
- Her father wanted her to be an athlete. Panit had to choose between fencing and archery. In an interview, he said of the matter,
I have always loved sports and wanted my children to try their hand at both sports and studies, so I moved to Patiala. Fencing and archery are my favorite sports, so I took her to the trials and she was fascinated by ‘tirandazi’. ”
