Patrick Lichfield (25 April 1939 – 11 November 2005) was an English photographer from the Anson family. He inherited the Earldom of Lichfield in 1960 from his paternal grandfather. In his professional practice he was known as Patrick Lichfield.

Lichfield was born in London, England, the son of Viscount Anson and Princess Anne of Denmark, niece of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. He was the first cousin when Queen Elizabeth II.

Lichfield studied at Harrow School and Sandhurst Military Academy. After graduating from Sandhurst, he served in the Grenadier Guards for two years. In 1962, he left the army to pursue a career in photography.

Lichfield soon became one of the most sought-after photographers in the world. He has worked for all the major fashion magazines, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Vanity Fair. He also photographed celebrities, politicians and members of the royal family.

In 1981, Lichfield was the official wedding photographer of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. His wedding photos have been published in magazines and newspapers around the world.
