Even NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes is a victim of an unfavorable camera angle.
The 28-year-old guard reacted to the CW clip Inside the NFL footage of the celebration in the Kansas City Chiefs locker room after the AFC Championship win has since gone viral.
The image shows a shirtless Mahomes cheering on his Chiefs teammates in the locker room after they secured their spot in the upcoming Super Bowl.
“Yoooo why do they have to make me like that!?!?!?,” Mahomes wrote in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) Wednesday morning, adding three smiley emojis and the hashtag #DadBodSzn.
Quoting his own post on the app, Mahomes added, “It’s like I have kids!!!” and tagged official accounts for the Chiefs, the NFL and Inside the NFL.
The Inside the NFLX user account replied Mahomes, “Elite in our book,” while ESPN draft analyst Matt Miller joked, “You and Jason Kelce are doing more for dads than anyone in history,” referring to the Philadelphia Eagles star’s shirtless antics in the Chiefs-Bills game .
Miller added that Kelce, 36, and Mahomes were “doing God’s work.”

Mahomes and the Chiefs will look to defend their reign as NFL champions when Super Bowl LVIII begins Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The 2024 Super Bowl will be Mahomes’ fourth appearance in the big game for Kansas City, and he seems to be looking forward to visiting Las Vegas.
After the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, Mahomes took to X to celebrate the win with a GIF of Zach Galifianakis’ character from the movie Hangover.
In the 2009 film, Galifianakis teams up with Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms on a wild and raunchy trip to the comic strip as they celebrate their bachelor party. Chaos ensues and the group is forced into a wild goose chase as they search for their lost friend.

Mahomes was active on Xu after the Chiefs’ win in Baltimore, also reposting a press photo of the shirts worn by the team’s defensive line in the locker room and a post by his teammate, linebacker Drue Tranquill.
“Big Red, T Swift, and the boys tore up your game again,” Tranquill, 28, wrote on X after the win, referring to tight end Travis Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift and head coach Andy Reid as “Big Red” in the post.
The Chiefs will now go to the Super Bowl for the second year in a row, after winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy last year.
