Back in August 2023, the Bravo star said she lost an “unhealthy” amount of weight during an episode of her Shenaniganswith a podcast. She admitted that she improved after giving birth to daughter Summer, now 2, but noticed that she was falling back into old habits because she was under more stress.

“Since I gave birth, I tried not to weigh myself all the time because I didn’t want to get so fixated on the number,” Shay explained. “The last two months of my life have been crazy, there’s been a lot going on that has recently affected my appetite and exercise habits, so I’ve lost weight.”

“The other day I took out a scale from the closet. I’m not exhibiting it anymore because I never want to go back to that place again,” she continued. “But I got on top of him and I said, ‘Okay, time to up the food and the weights.’ I don’t want to be 1-0 because I don’t think that’s a healthy weight for me. And it shows what stress and anxiety does to your body.”

“People are asking me right now if I’m on it and absolutely not. I wouldn’t do that. Not for me,” she said then. “I have other friends who – I don’t want to name names – who made some jokes about it like, ‘Well, after the next baby I’m just going to get Ozempic.’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t think that’s what he’s there for?'”

“I didn’t go on a specific diet after the baby,” she added. “I just kept working out and didn’t really drink much during the first year – I was still breastfeeding.”
