Paul Giamatti’s big night has seemingly brought on a big appetite.
On Sunday, Billions The alum, 56, won the Golden Globe for best actor in a comedy or musical for his role in The Holdovers. After the ceremony, the actor clearly couldn’t wait to eat a meal at one of the most famous restaurants in Los Angeles.
“PAUL GIAMATTI hangs out after his win at the Golden Globes last night, at the Westwood In-N-Out in LA,” actor Michael Warburton tweeted Monday.
There was a photo in the post Big fat liar the star sits in the lobby of a fast food restaurant, still dressed in a tuxedo, gold accessories visible as he prepares to munch on his meal.
Other users also seen in the picture seemed preoccupied with their personal orders.
Before heading to In-N-Out Burger, Giamatti gave a heartfelt speech to teachers, thanking his fans and peers for his Golden Globe win.
“This must be the first time this award has been given to an actor who played a man who smells like fish,” he joked, referring to his character, boarding school teacher Paul Hunham.

After sharing a few thank yous, he said, “I want to say hello to my son Samuel, who recently graduated. And it’s a movie about a teacher. I play a teacher in it. My whole family, they’re teachers. All of them, generations back.”
“Teachers are good people. We have to respect them,” he continued. “They’re doing a good thing. It’s hard work, so this is for the teachers, too. Thank you, guys. Thank you.”

IN The Holdovers, Giamatti stars as a grumpy history teacher at a remote prep school who is forced to stay on campus during the holidays with a troubled student (Dominic Sessa) who has nowhere to go. Da’Vine Joy Randolph also won Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her performance.

Last month, Illusionist alum spoke exclusively with PEOPLE about playing the cross-eyed teacher.
“I’m not allowed to tell you,” he said of movie magic. “I’m not kidding. It’s a state secret. I’m sworn to secrecy.”
In addition to his character’s eye problems, Giamatti told PEOPLE that Hunham’s trimethylaminuria — a rare genetic condition also called fishy odor syndrome because of the foul smell it creates — is “important [parts] character.”
“It makes him even more marginalized because the kids make fun of him for it,” he said of Hunham, whom he described as “a strict but well-meaning guy.”
