Paul Reubens’ Los Feliz home is on the market nearly a year after the actor’s death.
The comedian, who is best known for his role as Pee-wee Herman, died in July 2023 after being diagnosed with cancer. Now for sale is his 2,921 square foot home on 1.4 acres of land at the end of a private street in the Los Feliz area of Hollywood Hills, California.
Reubens bought the three-bedroom property for just over $400,000 in 1985 with his film salary Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, his longtime personal assistant Allison Berry said for The Wall Street Journal. He lived there for almost 40 years until his death at the age of 70.
The home is listed for $4,995,000 with Juliette Hohnen of Douglas Elliman.

Reubens’ rep confirmed his death in a statement to PEOPLE on July 31, 2023, revealing that the actor had been battling cancer for years before he died.
“Last night we said goodbye to Paul Reubens, the iconic American actor, comedian, writer and producer whose beloved character Pee-wee Herman delighted generations of children and adults with his positivity, whimsy and belief in the importance of kindness,” the statement said. .
“Paul bravely and privately battled cancer for years with his signature tenacity and wit,” it continued. “A gifted and prolific talent, he will forever live in the pantheon of comedy and in our hearts as a treasured friend and a man of extraordinary character and generosity.”
