Pawn Stars’ Rick Harrison Shares Tribute to Son Adam After His Death: ‘You Will Always Be in My Heart’

Shortly after it was announced on Friday that Adam had died of an overdose at the age of 39, Rick, 58, shared a touching tribute to his son on Instagram.

“You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam. 💔”, he wrote alongside a photo of himself smiling with Adam in a bar.

Adam Harrison, son of Pawn Stars Rick Harrison, died of an overdose at 39

Rick’s representative, Laura Herlovich, previously confirmed Adam’s death Las Vegas Review-Journal.

“Our family is extremely saddened by Adam’s death. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss,” the Harrison family said in a statement shared with the media.

Adam, who is Rick’s oldest son, was Corey Harrison’s brother. Their mother is Rick’s first wife, Kim. (Rick also has a third son, Jake, with his second wife, Tracy.)

Corey, 40, similarly paid tribute to Adam with a touching Instagram post, writing: “Wax wtf I will always love you bubba.”

Along with his message, he shared a picture of himself holding a photo of the brothers playing together in the bathtub as children.

Unlike his father Rick and brother Corey, Adam did not appear on Pawn Stars, reality series that follows the business of a world-famous gold and silver pawn shop in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The investigation into Adam’s death is currently ongoing, Las Vegas Metro Police told TMZ.

Herlovich and the Las Vegas Metro Police Department did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for additional comment on Friday.
